No Recovery For Freeze Morris, Career Ends
Wednesday, July 3rd, 2013
It was a somber time in Minneapolis today at the press conference announcing that Ron Morris was forced into retirement by a broken bone in the elbow. Rumors had been circulating that the 24-year-old Freeze first baseman's playing days were over after he sustained several severe setbacks during his rehab workouts. Morris confirmed his retirement today. "It is time to go to the next chapter of my life," the dejected but upbeat Morris told BNN. "I have a wonderful family, and that's really what life is about anyway."
