Reno Starter Named BCL's Best Pitcher Saturday, June 1st, 2013 In May, Ryan Owens tore through the Blake Camden League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 24 years old. The young Reno starter posted a 4-1 mark and an ERA of 2.43 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 40.2 innings he collected 29 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .211 average. This season Owens has compiled a 5-2 record with a 4.13 ERA in 12 starts. |
