Day-to-Day Injury Shelves Burris Wednesday, August 15th, 2012 Outlaws star second baseman Danny Burris suffered a strained rib cage muscle during yesterday's game against the Tornadoes at Trent Bridge. He sustained the injury while running the bases. Nottinghamshire lists Burris as day-to-day, noting he could miss about one week. To date Burris has chalked up a .382 average with 1 home run, driven in 45 runs and scored 39 times. |
