Bad News for Dallas, Larsen Injured Friday, July 20th, 2012 The Dallas Texans were dealt a severe blow when Bodil Larsen was hurt colliding with a player at a base recently in a game against the Montreal Bandits. After the game, the team trainer reported Larsen might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 28-year-old catcher out for the rest of the season with a ruptured foot tendon. They indicated it would take Larsen at least 5 months to heal. This season Larsen is batting .345 with 112 hits and 5 home runs. He has scored 47 times and has 46 runs batted in. |
