Thurman Munson League Names Rookie of Month Sunday, July 1st, 2012 Youngster Lawrence Fox emerged as the latest Thurman Munson League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Kansas City deserved the honor, batting .356 with 3 home runs and 21 RBI. Is the month of June a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Fox enjoy the limelight. So far this year Fox is hitting .305 with 5 home runs. |
