RCL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Sunday, July 1st, 2012 A veritable toddler to the Roberto Clemente League, Danny Burris just sewed up the Rookie of the Month trophy for June. Over the past month the 23-year-old second baseman for Nottinghamshire hit .439 with 50 hits, no home runs and 21 runs batted in. He also logged 11 walks and compiled a .492 on-base percentage. Burris is hitting .386 so far this season with 45 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has 123 hits including 1 home run, 31 walks and .449 OBP. |
