Bad News For Vázquez and Jacksonville Thursday, September 20th, 2018 Ramón Vázquez was taking it slow and easy, nursing a partially torn labrum back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a Jacksonville team official, "Ramón was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 26-year-old Jacks starting pitcher would be out at least another 2 months. This season Vázquez has registered 5 wins and 8 losses in 19 starts with a 4.96 ERA. |
