Sepkiechler Gets 5 Hits Sunday, September 9th, 2018 Who needs batting practice? Terrence Sepkiechler of San Diego apparently doesn't as he peppered Oklahoma City with a 5-hit outburst in today's game. He got the hits, but lost the game. The Prowlers pulled out a 10-6 win. He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. This was really something... a 5 for 5 day... will my name be in the record books now?" One of his teammates hollered out, "No, only if your team wins the game!" Terrence Sepkiechler hit a solo-shot off Scott Gorman in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Sepkiechler is hitting at a .296 mark this season. His stats show 19 home runs, 90 RBIs and 74 runs scored. He has played 141 games for the Hops. |
