SP Tom Owens Out Friday, September 7th, 2018 The Texans received bad news this morning. Tom Owens will miss 11-12 months due to a damaged elbow ligament. He sustained the injury in the Dallas-Minnesota game while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Owens sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." This season Owens has worked 146.2 innings with 94 strikeouts en route to a 6-8 record and a 4.66 ERA. |
