Smith Keeps Hit Streak Alive Tuesday, September 4th, 2018 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Phillip Smith did it again. He bashed 1 hit in today's game and for the last 20 games in a row has collected at least one hit. The 30-year-old Las Vegas catcher extended his streak as the Jokers beat the Eureka Hornets 8-2 at Lucky 7 Ballpark. Phillip Smith struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. This year Smith is hitting .352 with 155 hits, 6 home runs, 63 RBIs and has scored 61 runs. |
