Méndez Will Sit Out 2 Games, Suspended by League
Wednesday, August 15th, 2018
It is one thing to gentlemanly discuss an umpire's decision, but a prolonged argument is not acceptable. There are consequences when a player violates this principle. Pedro Méndez, left fielder for the Jacksonville Jacks, has been banned by the league for 2 games for his inappropriate behavior in a recent game with New York. He was ejected after vehemently disputing a called third strike.
Méndez is currently batting .180 with no home runs and 3 RBIs.
