RCL Top Pitcher Award for July to O'Day Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 In July, Tom O'Day tore through the Roberto Clemente League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 24 years old. The young Fort Worth starter posted a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 3.00 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 39 innings he collected 46 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .243 average. Checking out his stats for the season, O'Day has notched 7 wins and 1 loss in 11 starts, 3.13 ERA and struck out 67 batters in 69 innings. |
