Deal: Fujii for Rivera Monday, July 30th, 2018 After prolonged negotiations Eureka agreed to ship 18-year-old minor league starting pitcher Takashi Fujii to San Francisco for 32-year-old closer Ramón Rivera. The deal is awaiting confirmation from the league office but neither team expects any hang-ups. "It took longer than expected," said one GM, "but we knew that the deal was going to happen." To date, his season stats show Rivera has 21 saves with a 3-4 mark and 2.59 ERA. |
