Marauders Trade Martin to Earthquakes for Sardeson Monday, July 30th, 2018 The Maple Marauders have parted ways with 23-year-old minor league reliever Coco Yamashita and 24-year-old minor league closer Jonathan Martin in a trade with the San Francisco Earthquakes for 26-year-old shortstop Archie Sardeson. The Marauders general manager confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning. This season Martin has no saves. In 9 relief appearances he has tossed 8.2 innings, struck out 13 and issued 5 walks with a 1-1 record. The San Francisco reliever has recorded a 8.31 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .289 when he is in the game. To date this season Sardeson is hitting .218 with 13 home runs. |
