Oklahoma City's Smith Gets RCL Player of the Week Monday, July 23rd, 2018 A battle-tested Dan Smith declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 33-year-old Oklahoma City first baseman collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .519 average, 14 hits in 27 at-bats, 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 9 runs scored. For the season Smith is batting .297 with 88 hits and 12 home runs. He has scored 51 times and batted in 45. |
