Sunday, July 8th, 2018
Mike Land expressed his disappointment when he learned that a broken bone in the elbow would sideline him for 4-5 months. "I'll just spend a lot of time in the training room and hopefully speed up the healing process. Nobody likes to be out of the line-up," explained Land. The second baseman got hurt in today's game with the So Cal Republic. He was hurt colliding with a player at a base. Team officials had no comment on his roster replacement.

In 59 games this season Land is batting .248 with 40 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 18 runs and driven in 25.
