Bad News for So Cal, Hawkins Injured Thursday, June 21st, 2018 It took the So Cal team doctor a while to realize it, but reliever Jesse Hawkins won't simply play through a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Panthers-Republic game. At first, it looked like Hawkins might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 10 months. In 16 relief appearances this season, Hawkins has 2 saves. He has 3 wins and 1 loss, 3.91 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 25.1 innings. |
