Glassey Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, June 18th, 2018 22-year-old Tanner Glassey sent shock waves through ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Glassey made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .480 average, 12 hits in 25 at-bats, 2 home runs and 9 RBI. Where the Fort Worth Panthers second baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Glassey certainly made his mark last week. For the year Glassey has hit .337 with 12 home runs, 53 RBIs and scored 58 runs. |
