António Gómez out 7 Weeks With Injury Friday, June 15th, 2018 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Outlaws when after today's game against the Mustangs, the club found out they would be without the services of António Gómez for at least 7 weeks. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Gómez was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a sprained ankle. This year Gómez has registered 6 wins and 5 losses in 14 starts with a 3.31 ERA while registering 69 strikeouts and 36 walks in 89.2 innings. |
