Maple Swaps Greer to New York for Talley Monday, June 11th, 2018 The Maple Marauders have finalized a deal that will send 33-year-old reliever Chandler Fisher, 34-year-old reliever Brandon Wilson, 35-year-old reliever Ron Cutter and 26-year-old left fielder Billy Greer to New York for 17-year-old minor league starting pitcher Pedro Pérez, 39-year-old reliever Lyle Arnold, 24-year-old minor league starting pitcher Tom Collins, 24-year-old minor league center fielder Martin Jenkins and 26-year-old second baseman Ronnie Talley. Minor details still need to be worked out before the trade becomes official, but the players involved are expected to be with their new clubs soon. A look at his season totals shows Greer with 13 home runs, .257 BA, .312 OBP, 35 RBIs and 29 runs scored. Talley is hitting at a .241 mark this season. His stats show 3 home runs, 20 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has played 58 games for the Marauders. |
