Tornadoes Martínez Suffers Injury Sunday, June 3rd, 2018 The Kansas City Tornadoes will have to make do without Reynaldo Martínez for 3-4 months. He suffered a partially torn labrum while throwing a pitch in the game today against the South Carolina Bombers. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the starting pitcher. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." In 12 starts this season Martínez has chalked up a 9-1 record and a 2.40 ERA. |
