May's Best Rookie Trophy Awarded Friday, June 1st, 2018 Brad Thomas is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest Thurman Munson League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In May the Maple hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .333 average with 40 hits, 6 home runs and 27 RBIs. This year Thomas is hitting .327, produced 41 RBIs and 9 home runs, scored 31 times and gotten on base at a .372 rate. |
