Brouillette Holds Washington Scoreless Monday, May 28th, 2018 Cohen Brouillette was in command in his outing against the Washington Capitalists. He hurled the So Cal Republic to a 8-0 shutout victory, yielded 3 hits and chalked up 8 strikeouts and 1 walk. "A complete-game shutout. That's fun territory for me," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I had good balance and mechanics and was able to keep the ball down. When I do that, good things happen." Thus far this season, Brouillette has worked 70.1 innings with 69 strikeouts en route to a 6-2 record and a 2.69 ERA. |
