Hornets Hirayama Named TML's #1 Player Monday, May 7th, 2018 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Takaaki Hirayama was rewarded with the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Eureka Hornets catcher hit .565 while collecting 13 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs and 12 RBIs.
