Kent 5-5 for Mustangs Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018 Jeff Kent really sizzled at the plate today. In a game played at The Frozen Tundra, the Mile High left fielder blistered the Minnesota Berserkers for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a 6-4 victory. "Kent was too tough to get out today," the Berserkers skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Jeff Kent singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and walked in the 10th. So far this season Kent is batting .336 with 1 home run, 18 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has 37 hits in 110 at-bats, 13 walks and a .397 OBP. Kent has played in 28 games. |
