RCL's Best Player Named Monday, April 23rd, 2018 So far in his young career, George Soucy has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Roberto Clemente League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Fort Worth Panthers first baseman hit at a torrid .579 clip as he collected 11 hits in 19 at-bats, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Soucy on the season is batting .420 with 5 home runs. His totals include 20 RBIs and 9 runs scored. He has played in 19 games. |
