Mustangs, Berserkers Trade Players Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 It came down to the last hour of a self-imposed trade deadline, but the Mile High Mustangs and Minnesota Berserkers finally came to an agreement on a trade that had been rumored for weeks. The trade sends Mile High's 35-year-old designated hitter Eric McSwan and 26-year-old starting pitcher Scott Wilson to Minnesota in a swap for 26-year-old center fielder Floyd Cross. Both GMs seemed relieved that the deal had been completed with one stating, "We had to set a deadline to get it done." The players are expected to report to their new teams by tomorrow. Lifetime McSwan is hitting .278 and has totaled 172 home runs. |
