Hodges Named TML Cy Young Award Winner Thursday, November 9th, 2017 This year there was no one better on the mound than Ron Hodges. Posting 17 wins and a 3.32 ERA was only part of the story for the Boston superstar. For his outstanding performance in 2017 he was chosen as the Thurman Munson League Cy Young Award winner. From start to finish Hodges never let up. In 32 starts he recorded 17 wins and 9 losses, 222.1 innings, 183 strikeouts, 55 walks, yielded 210 hits, and permitted opposing batters to hit .244 against him. |
