Hornets Win Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division Thursday, September 28th, 2017 The Eureka clinched a postseason berth today, officially capturing the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division division title. The Eureka Hornets' clubhouse was filled afterwards with jubilant teammates showering each other with champagne. Manager, Ismael De La Garza, praised his club, saying, "We were underdogs from the beginning, but we pulled it off. I couldn't be more proud of this group of guys for getting it done. Now our goal is to bring a championship to Eureka!" Hopefully the team can get some sleep after what's sure to be a late night celebrating! |
