Thurman Munson League Names Rookie of Month Friday, September 1st, 2017 Youngster Brian McCauley emerged as the latest Thurman Munson League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Jacksonville deserved the honor, batting .288 with 7 home runs and 26 RBI. Is the month of August a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let McCauley enjoy the limelight. For the year McCauley has hit at a .304 clip with 68 RBIs, 16 home runs and 44 runs scored. |
