August's RCL Top Pitcher is Republic Brouillette Friday, September 1st, 2017 Cohen Brouillette took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month award for August. The 26-year-old Republic starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 3-0 won-lost record in 5 starts. This month he fanned 37 batters in 32 innings and compiled a 1.97 ERA. Brouillette has made 28 starts, tossed 163.1 innings, struck out 152 batters and walked 69. His record is 13-3 with a 4.24 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .258 batting average. |
