Oklahoma City Snaps Bowman's Streak at 22 Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 The New York Mafia lost to the Oklahoma City Prowlers 10-7 today at Don Corleone Park, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Will Bowman's 22-game hitting streak. "We felt if we could slow down Bowman, we would win the game," the Prowlers manager explained after the game. "They really seemed to feed off of his streak, so we really wanted to make sure they had nothing to feed off of." Bowman is swinging at a .347 pace on the year with 14 home runs, 58 RBIs and 80 runs scored. He has played in 103 games. |
