Tornadoes North Smacks 5 Hits Sunday, July 23rd, 2017 Kansas City center fielder Oliver North could do no wrong in today's 9-3 win over the Jokers as he collected 5 hits. "In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Jokers said to the press corps after the game. North agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Oliver North singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and singled in the 7th. North is hitting .359 in 2017 with 28 RBIs and no home runs. |
