The Fort Worth center fielder stretched his hitting streak to 20 games today at Progress Energy Field. He was 1-for-3 in the Panthers 9-1 win over the Carolina Crush. José Carlos Mata doubled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th and struck out in the 6th. Currently Mata has 17 home runs and a .350 batting average. |
