Leonardo Reynoso Hurt, Out 3 Weeks
Saturday, July 15th, 2017
The So Cal Republic learned that Leonardo Reynoso is likely to be out for 3 weeks after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Carolina Crush. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a strained tricep tendon. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the So Cal manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Leonardo is back in action."

Reynoso has made 19 starts, tossed 116.2 innings, struck out 106 batters and walked 46. His record is 11-2 with a 3.93 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .253 batting average.
