Dallas, So Cal Agree to Trade Monday, July 10th, 2017 In an effort to add some depth to its roster, the Dallas Texans have swapped 35-year-old closer Peter Klein to the So Cal Republic for 28-year-old center fielder Bob Osborn and 24-year-old minor league reliever Ron Hodges. The Texans GM told reporters, "We saw a chance to upgrade our ball club and took it." In the 2017 season Klein has worked 34.2 innings in 31 relief appearances and earned 14 saves. He has dished out 43 strikeouts and walked 16 with a 2-2 mark and a 2.34 ERA. So far this season Osborn has 7 home runs and a .200 batting average. |
