Great Stroke: White Gets 5 Hits
Friday, June 30th, 2017
After the Minnesota 12-11 victory over San Diego and his 5-hit day right fielder Larry White told BNN beat writers, "It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college ball, two hits in a game are very good. Three or four hits even better, five or more are out of sight ... and if it is in pro ball, it is really something special."

The 23-year-old player gained that distinction today at The Frozen Tundra with a spectacular 5 for 6 game against the San Diego Hops.

The skipper of the Berserkers spoke glowingly of White, telling BNN writers, "His swing is getting there. We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Larry did that to perfection today."

Larry White singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Luis Sandoval in the 6th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit a solo-shot off Ed Downing in the 11th.

This year White has batted at a .302 pace with 52 hits, 10 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 37 times.
