Orlando Carranzo Out 9 Months Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012 Orlando Carranzo expressed his disappointment when he learned that a torn anterior cruciate ligament would sideline him for 9 months. "I'll just spend a lot of time in the training room and hopefully speed up the healing process. Nobody likes to be out of the line-up," explained Carranzo. The right fielder got hurt in today's game with the San Francisco Earthquakes. He was hurt running the bases. Team officials had no comment on his roster replacement. To date this year Carranzo is batting .273 with 6 home runs. |
