Gilliam Goes Hitless, Streak Stopped at 20 Tuesday, June 27th, 2017 His run was over, but a Carolina victory took some of the disappointment out of George Gilliam losing his 20-game hitting streak. The 33-year-old designated hitter did not get a hit in 3 at-bats, but the Crush whipped the Oklahoma City Prowlers 9-8 today at Huron River Park. Presently Gilliam is batting .336 with 5 home runs and 18 RBIs. He has played in 39 games and scored 21 times. |
