Dixon, Petersen Swap Clubs Wednesday, June 7th, 2017 It's all done except the paperwork. The Maple Marauders and the Dallas Texans have agreed to a trade that will send 28-year-old reliever Ken Dixon to Dallas, while 23-year-old minor league right fielder Brooks Petersen will be shipped to Maple. A top front office executive with the Marauders described the trade talks as "quick and easy." "We're glad to get this deal done. We think it's something that helps our ball club and it didn't take too long at all to sort this one out," he said. This year Dixon has registered no saves in 22 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 2-2 won-lost mark with a 10.50 ERA. In 18 innings he has fanned 17. A look at his season totals shows Petersen with 1 home run, .500 BA, .500 OBP, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. |
