ABL News: First-Year Player Draft Wednesday, June 7th, 2017 Rookie draft day is here! A day of excitement and anticipation in the baseball world. A big day for ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE teams and all the aspiring amateur players eligible to be drafted. The first five choices will be made by Fort Worth, Kansas City, Jacksonville, Carolina and Georgia. It has been reported on BNN that the first ten selections are likely to include: 1. Lee Bruce, 22 year-old right fielder out of college. 2. Tom Cassidy, 20 year-old center fielder out of college. 3. Ron Verity, 22 year-old third baseman out of college. 4. Sébastien Favreau, 26 year-old right fielder out of college. 5. Tsuruki Saito, 29 year-old right fielder out of college. 6. William Lee, 22 year-old first baseman out of college. 7. Carlton Wheeler, 20 year-old right fielder out of college. 8. Motoyasu Matsushita, 22 year-old left fielder out of college. 9. Todd Belcher, 22 year-old second baseman out of college. 10.
