Cecil Gibbons Will Miss 7-8 Months Sunday, May 21st, 2017 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Bombers when after today's game against the Earthquakes, the club found out they would be without the services of Cecil Gibbons for at least 7-8 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Gibbons was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a torn labrum. In 9 starts this season Gibbons has compiled a 2-5 record and a 5.14 ERA. |
