Career Over! Major Injury Strikes Everhart Saturday, May 20th, 2017 It looked bad when it happened during the game. Then, later on, one could tell from the grim faces in the Carolina clubhouse that the team had lost Jeff Everhart to a serious injury. Everhart, in fact, had sustained a torn labrum making a defensive play in yesterday's Crush-Republic game at Staples Field @ The Rose Bowl. The center fielder's season -- and likely his baseball career -- is over at the age of 26. This year Everhart is hitting .224 with 17 hits, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and has scored 10 runs. |
