Bad News for Nottinghamshire, Cruz Injured Tuesday, May 16th, 2017 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Minnesota Berserkers, Outlaws reliever Jesús Cruz was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 7-8 weeks with a forearm strain. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Nottinghamshire skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. During this season Cruz has delivered 5 saves. In 16 relief appearances, he has 19 strikeouts in 18.2 innings with a 2.41 ERA and 2 wins and no losses. |
