Maple Marauders Ship Carpentier to Dallas Monday, May 8th, 2017 Several Marauders and Texans players soon will have to start shopping for a new home. It was announced today that the two teams came to agreement on a trade. Maple will get 25-year-old second baseman Jesse Clark and Dallas will pick up 28-year-old reliever Dan Wilder, 23-year-old shortstop Jacques Carpentier and 23-year-old minor league shortstop Dave Yeadon in return. "I'm not surprised by the news," one of the players told reporters, "It's part of the business and I understand that. I am looking forward to playing for the Marauders." This season Carpentier has banged out no hits in 9 at-bats for a .000 average with no home runs. He is getting on base at a .000 pace and his totals also include 0 RBIs and 1 run scored. Presently Clark is batting .279 with 34 hits and 1 home run. He has knocked in 12 runs and scored 15 times. |
