Sanders Wins RCL Player of the Week Trophy Monday, April 17th, 2017 The 38-year-old Montreal Bandits first baseman might not have the spring he had in his step years ago, but the "old man" can still play the game. George Sanders has been a reliable ballplayer, one who has worked hard to earn everything he's achieved and today he sits on top of the heap as he was named the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week. He went 14-20 to rack up a .700 average with 2 home runs and 3 runs batted in this past week. Sanders also scored 7 runs. |
