Bandits Baldwin Suffers Injury
Saturday, October 1st, 2016
The Montreal Bandits learned that Alvin Baldwin is likely to be out for 6-7 weeks after he injured himself throwing the ball in today's game against the San Diego Hops. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a strained abdominal muscle. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Montreal manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Alvin is back in action."

Baldwin has collected 147 hits for the Bandits this year, 3 of them home runs. He has also netted 49 RBIs and scored 82 runs while batting .284.
