Despite Today's Loss, Hornets Make Playoffs Wednesday, September 28th, 2016 Some people may say the Eureka Hornets fell backwards into the playoffs after clinching a playoff spot after today's loss. None of those people are in the team's clubhouse. "I am so proud of this team", said Hornets manager, Ismael De La Garza. "Despite today's loss, this is something we have worked towards all year long. We are not going to let a single games outcome after an entire season of winning tarnish that." Winning indeed.
