Bad Behavior Costs Shafer and Mills
Tuesday, September 27th, 2016
During a recent Washington-San Diego game at Michigan & Trumball, Millard Shafer of the Capitalists and Ted Mills of the Hops got into an altercation on the field and had to be separated from each other as the benches emptied. Both players knew they would have to face the music and today the league commissioner's office announced their punishments. They have been given 3-game suspensions because of their actions.

Shafer's current batting average stands at .312 and he has chalked up 9 home runs and 52 RBIs.

This year Mills has posted a record of 11 wins and 11 losses with a 4.14 ERA. He has appeared in 33 games and struck out 154 in 215 innings.
