Stan Cheslin Captures TML Award Monday, August 22nd, 2016 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Stan Cheslin, the Jersey Jesters 22-year-old right fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Thurman Munson League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 10 hits in 22 at-bats, compiling a .455 average with 2 home runs and 3 RBIs. In his stats this season, Cheslin has posted a batting average of .272 with 130 hits in 478 at-bats, 32 home runs and 79 RBIs. He has also scored 71 runs, walked 64 times and compiled a .364 OBP. |
